INFO
From a digital model, I created a conversation between two materials – metal and wood – in an interesting manner. The border between these materials is a scaled representation of US 1 which crosses the jewelry manufacturing historical district in Providence. It speaks of the city's transformation from a rural area to an industrial one and the imperative role the highway played.
